TFN (tax file number) 신청 방법에 대해서 알아봅시다

1.     아래의 링크 페이지인 호주 국세청 (Australian Taxation Office) 홈페이지를 방문합니다.

2.     아래의 세가지 조건에 충족한다면 온라인으로 신청을 하실 수 있습니다.

-       호주가 아닌 다른 국적 여권 소지자, 영주 이민자 또는 임시 방문자

-       호주에 이미 도착한 자

-       소지하고 계신 비자가 (영주이민비자, 일할 수 있는 비자, 해외유학생비자 등)

    ·         You can apply for a tax file number online if you meet these three conditions:

1.       You are a foreign passport holder, permanent migrant or temporary visitor.

2.       You are already in Australia.

3.       Your visa is one of the following:

§  a permanent migrant visa

§  a visa with work rights

§  an overseas student visa

§  a visa allowing you to stay in Australian indefinitely (including New Zealanders automatically granted a visa on arrival).

신청을 완료하시면, 28일 안에 호주국세청에서 신청하실 당시에 기재하셨던 호주내 주소로 안내 편지와 개인 TFN 발급됩니다.

워킹홀리데이분들의 경우 간혹 임시 주소지와 잦은 주소지 변동으로 인해서 편지를 수령하시지 못하는 경우도 발생하오니 본인의 개인정보보호를 위해서 반드시 참고하시어 계획하시기 바랍니다.
