One of Tasmania’s best fine dining restaurants is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join their kitchen brigade.
You will work closely with the executive head chef – who will take you under his wing and teach you about the local produce and how to best utilise ingredients in order to produce stand out dishes!
The team are focused on seasonality, consulting with the best producers and growers to get their hands on the best ingredients on offer. Foraging along their coastline – the team craft a daily degustation in conjunction to their stunning a la carte menu.
You will be a qualified chef, who lives and breathes the hospitality industry and who is strong within their leadership skills. Possessing a strong understanding of produce, culinary techniques and kitchen equipment, you will be dedicated to your craft with the passion to succeed in your next position. You will be confident in your ability to work across all sections of the kitchen with a willingness to learn from your Senior Chefs. We require a dedicated professional who sees this opportunity as the ultimate chance to showcase their stellar culinary skills.
