Skills and experience:
We are looking for a mature and experienced staff member who has a passion for hospitality and is able to professionally supervise, train and direct staff as well as be pro-active in the on-going direction of the business.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth functioning of the restaurant
- Provide a positive dining experience for all customers
- Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard
- Ordering of stock from various suppliers
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food handing guidelines and licensing requirements
- Oversee the training and development of front of house staff
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus
- Updating menus and wine lists in conjunction with the chef and owner
- Recruit, hire, training and develop a high-performing team of employees
- Conduct regular inspections to assess food quality, presentation
- Handling customer inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally
- Manage pricing strategies to maintain profitability while remaining competitive
- Monitor sales and expenses to ensure financial targets are met
Requirements:
- Certificate in Hospitality Management is ideal
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
