Head Chef - Roxby Downs Tavern
Roxby Downs Tavern, is known for warm hospitality, good food and entertainment. It's a family friendly venue which is also a favourite with the local work crew.
As Head Chef, you would report closely to the Venue Manager and our Group Executive Chef to ensure food is prepared & presented to the highest standard.
Open for breakfast 4 days per week, and lunch & dinner 7 days per week.
Responsibilities of Head Chef:
- Lead & manage an experienced kitchen team
- Ensure quality of meals served
- Develop new dishes & listen to customer feedback
- Oversee food safety
- Ensure work health & safety of yourself and your team, identifying any hazards and implementing control measures
- Work with the front of house team to ensure open communication & smooth service
What we're looking for:
- Positive leadership
- Experience in a similar position
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a hygienic kitchen and food safety
- Experience in ordering and stock control
- Ability to work to a budget
