Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning the Interior and Exterior of Offices: You will be responsible for ensuring that all areas within our office premises, including workspaces, meeting rooms, kitchens, and restrooms, are kept clean and hygienic.
2. Cleaning the Buildings Common Area’s: As part of a 24x7 office operation, you will be tasked with maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby area, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all visitors.
3. Handyman and General Maintenance/Cleaning: Performing general maintenance tasks and repairs as needed throughout the building, including but not limited to, fixing minor plumbing issues, repairing doors, and addressing any other maintenance concerns.
4. Exterior Garden Maintenance: Keeping the exterior areas of the building, including gardens and outdoor spaces, neat and well-maintained at all times.
5. Cobweb Removal: Regularly inspecting and removing cobwebs from both interior and exterior walls and ceilings of the building to uphold cleanliness standards.
6. Internal and External Glass Cleaning: Ensuring that all windows and glass surfaces, both inside and outside the building, are cleaned to maintain a clear and polished appearance.
7. Cleaning Office Machines: Cleaning and sanitizing office equipment, including computers, printers, scanners, and other machinery, to keep them in optimal working condition.
8. Assisting Equipment Service Technician: Providing support and assistance to our equipment service technician as required, including moving equipment, preparing work areas, and performing basic maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning and maintenance roles.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labour as required.
• Knowledge of safe handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours if necessary.

About the role

In this casual role as a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for various domestic activities including cooking, shopping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting and cleaning bathrooms and toilet, bed-making, dishwashing, laundry, ironing, hanging clothes out, assistance with meal preparation, and unaccompanied shopping.
