Autohome Australia is a Prestige used car dealership based in Burwood NSW 2134. Our focus is to provide a solution for all sellers and buyers. Through word of mouth and referrals from satisfied clients, our reputation has allowed us to attract both local and interstate clients. 

Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking an experienced Sales Consultant who are passionate about the automotive industry to join our team.

 

About the role

Autohome AU is seeking a highly motivated person to join our sales team. This will be a full-time position with the potential to progress to a management role in the future. 

You will have sound knowledge about a range of motor vehicle, particularly premium/luxury cars as this is the core of our business. Previous car Sales experience is a must; previous management and leadership experience in car sales are highly desirable. You will be familiar with the Sydney market. You must have good communication skills. 

 

Responsibilities' include, but not limited to:

  • Customer Consultation- Engage with potential customers to understand their automotive needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
  • Vehicle Presentation- Showcase the features and benefits of various used cars to customers, highlighting the value and advantages of each model.
  • Test Drives- Arrange and conduct test drives for customers to help them experience the vehicles firsthand. Ensure safety and comfort during the test drive while answering any questions they may have.
  • Negotiation and Closing- Negotiate with customers to reach mutually agreeable terms for the purchase of the chosen vehicle. Handle price negotiations, trade-ins, and financing options professionally and ethically.
  • Sales Documentation- Assist customers in completing all necessary paperwork and documentation related to the vehicle purchase, ensuring accuracy and compliance with dealership and legal requirements.
  • Customer Relationship Management- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and word-of-mouth referrals. Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction and address any post-sale concerns.
  • Stay Informed- Keep abreast of industry trends, new vehicle releases, and competitive offerings to provide up-to-date information and a competitive edge in the marketplace.
  • Achieve Sales Targets- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics set by the dealership to contribute to the overall success of the sales team.

 

About you:

  • Experience in sales, with a preference for candidates from the automotive industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with customers.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to close deals effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of used vehicles, their features, and their market value.
  • Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant tools.
  • A valid NSW driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivation, and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must be well-organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Fluent in Korean or Vietnamese.(Preferred)
  • You must be able to work weekends, on an 11 day per fortnight roster.
