Catering Assistants Permanent Part-time 

If you are passionate about the aged care industry, can perform under pressure, have excellent time management skills, and take pride in your work, then we want to hear from you. We have permanent part-time positions available in our catering department.

Meercroft Care Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation providing high and low care and aging in place with 140 beds and over 250 employees.

As a services employee, you will work throughout the facility maintaining a caring and respectful attitude to residents, visitors, volunteers, and staff.

Kitchen primary tasks:

• To perform all kitchen/catering duties as per tasks scheduled or as directed by the Hospitality Manager 
• Ensure all appliances are operated in a safe and correct manner
• An ability to communicate effectively with co-workers residents and their families, displaying patience, respect, courtesy, and understanding. 
• Incorporate flexibility to meet resident's individual choices. 
• Knowledge of infection control practices.
